SOFA Statistics 0.7.3 has CSV importing

SOFA Statistics 0.7.3 has just been released.  I have:

  • Added ability to import from csv files.
  • Fixed misc data table editing bugs.
  • Additional error trapping in summary report tables.

Plus there have been numerous small improvements above and under the hood.

    I’ve just tested the .csv with a known good data set. It is quite fussy about parsing, particularly if you have empty cells.

    Thanks for the feedback Chris. I believe 0.7.4 resolves those issues. It wasn’t the empty cells that caused the problem – it was the high number of columns. Fortunately that was trivial to fix. There are some other improvements to csv importing you might like – a progress bar, the ability to cancel in the middle, more logical enabling and disabling of buttons, and a Close button for Closing (instead of only having Cancel available).
